Here at BAZZAAL we're proud of our roots and think that everyone should embrace the culture that they belong to. Last week, BAZZAAL had the opportunity to join many other Korean small-owned businesses, artists, and founders in a community market event that honored 🇰🇷 Korean Liberation Day.
Live Love MAUM in Los Angeles, curated MAUM MARKET Nº 8 with 50+ local AAPI makers, including BAZZAAL + MAUM Beverage Bar showcasing the largest Korean alcoholic sampling experience + a variety of Korean-owned restaurants.
As a way to build community with our fellow skincare lovers and long-time brand followers, we decided that attending Live Love MAUM was the perfect way to bring BAZZAAL BOX to you for the first time!
At the event, we exclusively sold our very own, Sun Box and all the products included. Want to know which products from the box were the most popular? Well, the top two were SKIN1004's Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum and DEWYTREE's Urban Shade Cool Calming Sun Stick. These products quickly became favorites as they gave a quick transparent finish that wasn't too heavy in the California Sun.
This water-fit serum quickly sets on the skin with its lotion-like formula. This sunscreen leaves no white cast due to its chemical filters, along with a blend of skin soothing ingredients like Niacinamide, Centella Asiatica, and Hyaluronic Acid.
This calming sun stick contains Viola Mandshurica Flower Extract which helps with reducing the skin’s heat and offers over 99% soothing effects to UV-damaged skin. Transparent, refreshing, and soft when applied to the skin, this product can be used under OR over makeup to give the skin a boost! What’s not to like?
Throughout the day we were also able to connect with local AAPI vendors, each with unique stories like ours. Here we also decided to highlight some of the businesses that we got to connect with.

We were so happy to meet you at our first ever in-person event. While we try to offer a safe space for everyone over on social media, nothings like coming together every now and then in a space where we can uplift each other. BAZZAAL is so thankful that MAUM has created a space that is inclusive and highlights Asian founders and creators. Stay tuned, and we hope to see you at our next community event!
